About me
About me
Author since 2025 – writer since forever. I could say creating stories is my passion, but that wouldn’t just sound cliché; it also wouldn’t be entirely true. It’s so much more than that.
Writing is my way of life, my therapist, and my go-to method of decompressing and recharging. It’s a gift beyond comprehension.

The story of
Chrissa Carrington
Hi, I’m Chrissa!
I’ve been writing stories since I was fourteen and devouring books for even longer. My first foray into the world of romance was at age twelve when I stumbled across a Harlequin novel, and from then on, I was hooked. By my teens, I’d started writing my own tales, but I never finished anything—until Prince of Rats.
Prince of Rats is the first installment in my historical romance trilogy, and finishing it was a true game-changer for me. It taught me the beauty of persistence and the magic of bringing characters to life. This book marks the start of a long, winding, and colorful journey, filled with stories spanning genres. I know genre consistency is a wise career move, but my characters are too bossy to let me settle into one box. They drag me into worlds of romance, suspense, fantasy—you name it!

Originally from Hungary, I now live in stunning Andalucia, Spain—a place that feels more like home than anywhere else ever has. If you’ve never visited, add it to your bucket list; it’s every bit as magical as it sounds.
When I’m not writing, you can find me reading, binge-watching TV series, or wandering the Andalusian countryside. (And, yes, I often have long, weird conversations in my head with my characters. They’re a quirky bunch—I blame them for my own eccentricities!)
I’d love for you to join me on this adventure. Whether you’re here for Prince of Rats or just curious about what’s next, welcome! Grab some snacks, a glass of wine, and let’s enjoy the ride together. Don’t forget to tell your friends!
